Subject: Mkt 172 – International Marketing
General Advice: Overall, the class is interesting. However, it Mr. Perlada’s approach to teaching which makes going to this 6 to 9 pm class on a Friday worth it.
Teaching Style: Tries to engage his class by using his experiences in dealing with the global market. Uses powerpoint presentations, which he uploads on time and is very accommodating when it comes to his students concerns.
Requirements Level: Moderate (final marketing paper, which is a requirement for almost every marketing class/elective and WACS, which are accomplished by group)
Study Habits: Although he uploads the slides he uses for class, make sure to read the chapters in the book since the long test questions usually come from these sources. there are no quizzes, so do not be fooled into cramming the test coverage a day before the exam.
A-able Factor (1-Easiest, 5- Hardest): 2 (50% of the grade is individual effort, while the other half is dependent on the your group’s grade. it is up to you to make this work on your favor
